Student profile: Darron Wilson-Harris

Name: Darron Wilson-Harris

Why you started martial arts?: My wife got me involved after she had watched a movie (Miss Congenitality) where Sandra Bullock did kick boxing. My wife thought this would be a fun way for her to get fit. I had always wanted to do a martial art and never got the opportunity. So I we found a school and we started training together. She later stopped to persue another hobby and I continued on.

How often do you train?: I try to train at least 3 times a week.

Do you do any extra supplementary training?: Running after my little toddler.

Do you participate in other sports or activities? None

Favourite technique: guillotine

Rolling style: anaconda or squirrel monkey?: probably anaconda

What do you appreciate about the SBGi/Functional martial arts curriculum?: That it is functional and varied - I would get bored doing one thing over and over again. It also requires you to think / problem solve.

Advice for beginners: You have got to relax and have fun.

Who will win: Spiderman vs. the Hulk?: Chuck Norris (if's he's not available Spiderman)
